GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

PLEASE ALLOW 2-3 DAYS TO PROCESS YOUR ORDER though we attempt to ship within 24 hours whenever possible. Shipping time will vary depending on distance from Washington, day of the week (ex. USPS does not ship on Sundays)and mode chosen.

Shipping costs have gone up significantly with the rise of gasoline prices. We are aware how frustrating it can be to buy a $10 item and pay $8.00 in shipping. We're dedicated to finding the most cost-effective means available and to giving you options that will meet your needs.

FREE SHIPPING: All orders over $150 in purchases qualify for FREE SHIPPING. Please select it from the shipping drop-down menu to avoid regular rates being applied. ORDERS OF LESS THAN $150 ARE AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED $14.00 ($28 International) IF FREE SHIPPING IS SELECTED. This is generally more than the normal rate so please only select free shipping if your order qualifies. To remove this charge go back to the previous screen and change your shipping method (or buy more items!).

FREE SHIPPING orders will be sent by USPS First Class if less than 13 ounces, USPS Priority Mail if weighing 14 ounces – 5 pounds, or UPS if the order exceeds 5 pounds.

CHOOSING A SHIPPING METHOD

Most jewelry is very lightweight (usually about ½ ounce per item including the box) which makes USPS generally the least expensive method of shipment and items arrive in aproximately 2-5 days depending on location and method chosen.

Express delivery is also offered for rush orders. The express delivery option includes insurance at no extra charge.

Insurance is not included on orders less than $200 (except with the Express shipping option) INSURANCE MAY BE ORDERED AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE

USA SHIPPING OPTIONS and COSTS

1. FIRST CLASS SHIPPING (USA): $5.45. Delivery in 2-5 days from date of shipment depending on distance from Rockford, WA. Up to 20 SMALL JEWELRY items. ITEMS WEIGHING MORE THAN 13 OUNCES CANNOT BE SHIPPED FIRST CLASS (includes mainly the gift sets). PLEASE SELECT PRIORITY MAIL OR ANOTHER METHOD FOR WATCHES AND GIFT ITEMS.

2. PRIORITY MAIL (USA): Least expensive option for orders 1-5 pounds and generally faster than First Class for orders on the east coast (arrival in 2-3 days from shipping date excluding Sundays). See weight table below. Generally speaking orders weighing over 2 pounds will exceed the $150 order that qualifies for FREE SHIPPING. If not the additional cost is $2.50/pound.

The estimate for most jewelry is 25 items/pound which includes the weight of shipping and packaging supplies.

0-1 pound (1-25 items): $ 8.00 1-2 pounds: (26-50 items) $10.50

3. EXPRESS 1-2 BUSINESS DAYS: $30. Item will ship by the fastest means available. Express orders receive top priority for processing but may still REQUIRE AT LEAST 12-24 HOURS TO PROCESS and SHIP.

REFUND, RETURNS AND CANCELLATION POLICIES:

REFUNDS: At Beautiful Things our goal is for you to love what you purchase from us...and come back for more! We will refund the purchase price, shipping costs and any applicable taxes when:

1. The item you received was not what you ordered.

2. The item was received broken or damaged.

3. The item you received was not as it was described.

PLEASE CHECK THE DIMENSIONS OF THE ITEM YOU WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE BEFORE PURCHASING IT. WE DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS FOR FAILURE TO PAY ATTENTION. Most of the items have dimensions listed in the description. The photos are enlarged to show detail. An item may appear larger or smaller than it actually is. Many of the photos are stock photos. The item you receive may have slight variances from the photo. The descriptions are accurate.

With necklaces a good rule of thumb is to see how the pendant portion compares to the latch (on those photos that have the pendant just below the latch in the photo). Length and width are given in millimeters (mm) unless otherwise indicated. Millimeters are small! Look on a ruler to see how big the item actually is before purchasing.

4. Your request for a refund must be received within 14 days of the shipping date except during the months of November and December. The date for returns is extended during the Christmas season.

Please include the purchaser's name, date of purchase, item # and description of the problem. You will be given instructions on how to return the item and a pre-paid lable to print. The full purchase price plus applicable shipping charges and taxes will be credited back to your card when the item is received.
